ASSESSMENT PATTERN (as per CBSE guidelines)

The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, India and stringently follows the academic, assessment and examination procedures as defined by the Board.

FOR CLASSES I TO V (JUNIOR SCHOOL)

FOR CLASSES VI TO VIII (MIDDLE SCHOOL)

FOR CLASSES IX & X (SECONDARY CLASSES)

FOR CLASSES XI & XII (SENIOR SECONDARY CLASSES)

The students of the Senior Secondary Classes prepare to appear for the All India Senior School Certificate Examination conducted by the CBSE at end of class XII.

Class XI

Students of class XI appear for Four Assessments in each subject during the course of the academic session. For the purpose of gradient learning, in each examination, the portion of syllabus will be cumulatively covered in the four assessments. The gradually increasing portion of contents would prepare students acquire confidence for appearing in the Final Examination with 100% syllabus. The performance in each assessment contributes to the comprehensive result evaluated at the end of the session. The weightage of each of these assessments towards the Final Comprehensive Result evaluated at the end of the academic year is indicated below:

ASSESSMENT I (10%) + ASSESSMENT II (20%) + ASSESSMENT III (30%) + ASSESSMENT IV (40%) = 100%

Students will be promoted to class XII on the basis of the Final Comprehensive Result evaluated at the end of the year. To have been declared Pass and qualify for promotion to class XII, a child must secure minimum 33% marks in each subject and in aggregate. In case of practical subjects students have to secure minimum 33% marks in Theory & Practical individually.

Class XII

Students of class XII rigorously prepare to appear and excel in the AISSCE Board Examinations. The school conducts various assignments, cyclic tests, revision tests, pre-board examinations etc. to strengthen their endeavour to excel and produce meritorious results.
